MEANING
Logos is Greek for “word” and holds great significance in scripture, in language, and in philosophical thinking. It represents matters under discussion and refers to using reasoning and truth to persuade others. Its used with respect to the mind alone as the mental faculty of thinking, meditating, reasoning, and calculating. Even more significantly, LOGOS means “Word” and represents Jesus as used in John 1:1 - “In the beginning was the “LOGOS” and the “LOGOS” was with God, and the “LOGOS” was God.”

MISSION
We are a community of families on a mission to raise our children to be passionate Jesus followers who can think independently and stand apart in this world. Creating a society of responsible, informed, loving human beings starts with the parents. We believe in traditional family values, the importance of fellowship with like-minded people, and the free pursuit of knowledge.

METHOD
We are a blend of Classical Conversations and Charlotte Mason methods. Our children’s minds are sponges right now, able to soak up knowledge they will be able to build on and expand on as they mature, which is why we love utilizing classical conversation curriculum to lay down a strong foundation of facts. We love the Charlotte Mason method for the exposure to rich literature that makes learning come alive. We want to expose our kids to the best music, the best stories from a wide variety of sources and provide a hands-on learning atmosphere.
