1. LOGOS Co-op Parent Contract

I, (parent's name) as the parent of (students' names) promise to fulfill my responsibility
and commitment to LOGOS by faithfully executing the volunteer duties and contributions to which I
have agreed.
I understand and acknowledge the stated Mission Statement of LOGOS.
I realize that LOGOS is not a replacement for parental instruction but an enrichment and supplemental
program for the benefit of home educating families.
I agree to be present and available at all times during the hours of LOGOS classes that my child(ren) are
participating in.
I have read the Student Contract and I will encourage my child(ren) to comply.
I will keep apprised of my child(ren)’s conduct and progress by communicating frequently with the
teacher.
I acknowledge my God-given responsibility to discipline my child(ren). When informed of any
behavioral problem I will properly discipline my child with the goal of ensuring compliance with the
standards of student conduct set forth by LOGOS.
I acknowledge that I will be financially responsible for any property damage done by my child(ren) in or
around LBC.
I promise to resolve disputes by dealing with the person(s) involved in a spirit of forgiveness and
restoration; without criticizing them or LOGOS using the guidelines established in the Peacemaker’s
Pledge.
In consideration for the use of Lincroft Bible Church and LOGOS, I hereby waive and release any right
or claim I may have against Lincroft Bible Church and/or LOGOS, and agree to hold them harmless
from any and all claims, suits, losses or related causes of action for damages, death, accidental or
otherwise during or arising in any way from LOGOS classes and my child(ren)’s use of Lincroft Bible
Church.
As a Parent, I understand the above and agree to comply. I understand that if I fail to comply with these
standards I may lose the privilege of participating in LOGOS.

2. LOGOS Co-op Student Contract

CLASSROOM STANDARDS
1. Students are to be seated when class begins and are required to have completed assignments,
books, and supplies.
2. Students may be excused from class to sit in study hall for failure to be prepared with any of
the above. Continued unpreparedness may result in having the student dropped from the class
and sitting in study hall for the remainder of the year.
3. Students are to focus on the teacher, stay in their seats and keep their hands and feet to
themselves.
4. Students are to display good stewardship in caring for property of LBC, LOGOS, and other
students.
5. Students are to be cooperative, respectful and obedient to the teachers, administration and
LBC staff at all times.
6. Students are to be courteous, respectful and loving to classmates. This includes no hitting,
biting, or causing any physical or emotional harm by intimidation or force.
7. Being a source of distraction and causing others to stumble in the area of dress/appearance is
an important matter. Students are to exhibit modesty through tasteful attire and in order to avoid
the appearance of immodesty or inappropriate dress. No short dresses, short skirts, short shorts or
midriff or cleavage bearing shirts are allowed. Messages on any shirts should be neutral and God
honoring. Your cooperation will uniquely set LOGOS apart by emphasizing godly character.
8. Food is only permitted in designated areas at specific times. Absolutely no food is allowed in
the classrooms.

BASIC LOGOS STANDARDS
1. There should be no back talk or arguing with teachers, helpers, leadership, or LBC staff.
Prompt and cheerful obedience is expected.
2. Name-calling, cursing, inappropriate language, slander and gossip are forbidden. Students are
expected to treat teachers, helpers, leadership, LBC staff, and each other with respect.
3. Dishonesty, lying, cheating, or stealing will not be tolerated.
4. Students are expected to keep their hands to themselves.
5. Students may not leave the church grounds without permission.

As a student, I understand the above standards and agree to behave according to these rules of conduct. I
understand that if I fail to comply with these standards I may lose the privilege of participating in
LOGOS.

3. Our intent at LOGOS is to foster interaction, activity and deeper relationships both inside and outside
the classroom. Co-op meets only once per week for 6 short hours. We desire our children to thrive in a
safe environment. We want to ensure a healthy balance between education, enrichment, playing, outside
activity and cell phone/electronic use.

The Peacemaker's Pledge

A Commitment to Biblical Conflict Resolution
As people reconciled to God by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we believe that we are called
to respond to conflict in a way that glorifies God. We believe that conflict can be used to humble us,
strengthen us, and to conform us to His image. Therefore, in response to God's love and in reliance upon
His grace, we commit ourselves to respond to conflict according to the following principles:
Glorify God — Instead of focusing on our own desires or dwelling on what others may do, we will seek
to please and honor God—by depending on His wisdom, power, and love; by faithfully obeying His
commands; and by seeking to maintain a loving, merciful, and forgiving attitude.
Get the log out of your own eye — Instead of attacking others or dwelling on their wrongs, we will
take responsibility for our own contribution to conflicts—confessing our sins, asking God to help us
change any attitudes and habits that lead to conflict, and seeking to repair any harm we have caused.
Gently Restore — Instead of pretending that conflict doesn't exist or talking about others behind their
backs, we will choose to overlook minor offenses, or we will talk directly and graciously with those
whose offenses seem too serious to overlook. When a conflict with another Christian cannot be resolved
in private, we will ask others in the body of Christ to help us settle the matter in a biblical manner.
Go and be reconciled — Instead of accepting premature compromise or allowing relationships to
wither, we will actively pursue genuine peace and reconciliation—forgiving others as God, for Christ's
sake, has forgiven us, and seeking just and mutually beneficial solutions to our differences.
By God's grace, we will apply these principles as a matter of stewardship, realizing that conflict is an
opportunity, not an accident. We will remember that success, in God's eyes, is not a matter of specific
results but of faithful, dependent obedience. And we will pray that our service as peacemakers brings
praise to our Lord and leads others to know His infinite love.

Payment Instructions

Please select the appropriate payment options but be aware that payment is not due until after your interview and if you decide to join Logos.

Payment for Membership (and deposit for the Full Membership option only) is due in full at time of registration through cash, check, or zelle (search [email protected]). If full payment is not received by May 18th, 2025 then your membership will be considered incomplete and your membership terminated.

You may reapply for membership past the deadline, but it will be considered as a new family approval and you will no longer have priority class registration.

New Members must have a background check done. Returning members that have bakcground checks older than 3 years must have a background check done. Please select the appropriate membership fee below along with the background check fee if you are a new member. Once you submit your membership form you will be directed to a payment page. There you will also find a link to the background check form. That form must be filled out by all new members for your membership to be approved.

All fees are NON-REFUNDABLE

This year we will also be including a REFUNDABLE deposit for Full Membership only. This deposit must be paid at the time of class registration. If all service obligations (i.e. teaching, class aid, set-up/clean-up, hall monitor, etc.) as well as adhearance to the co-op attendance policy of no more then 5 absences per school year of the parent or guardian, then this deposit will be refunded at the end of the co-op year.

No new members will be accepted during the academic year (Septermber 4, 2025 - April 1, 2026)
