It is that time of year again where we have to start thinking about next year! It is crazy that it has come so fast!
This year class proposals will be able to be submitted from February 6th - 20th. We urge you to submit your classes within this time period so that we can have time to plan class schedules and fill in classes where there are gaps. If you want to teach, but need help deciding what to teach, please reach out to anyone on the Admin team and we can help you.
We are changing our process for class proposals this year which will hopefully streamline the process and make it run more smoothly.
- Please submit your class request online (see the process below)
- Once the class request is received, we will review the information. If we have any questions, we will contact you within a week of receiving the request.
- Once the class has been approved on the website you will have one week ro respond if you would like to withdraw the request and are no-longer willing to teach.
- If we do not hear anything back from you at the end of a week, we will assume you have accepted the teaching position and have committed to if for the following year. Withdrawl of your teaching responsibility at any time after this point will result in the forfeit of your $200 deposit.
To submit a class proposal for next year you will follow these steps:
- Go to logoslbc.org and make sure you are logged in
- Along the top menu click on "Thursday Co-op Members Only"
- Click on the blue "Classroom Dashboard" button.
- Make sure you are on the "Parent View" option. If you are not, switch it by clicking the dropdown on the right hand side of the page.
- At the bottom of the "My Classes" section you will see a blue button that says "Request New". Click that.
Please fill out a much information as possible for your class. This will allow us to fully understand your proposed class and decide if it is a good fit for next year.
Do not worry about location, matrix, or times yet.
Please include information about what type of space you need and what type of equipment you will need such as if the students need to sit at tables, if you need a TV, etc.
If you are willing to teach the class to more than one age group please include that in the class description.
Please include class size information in the Registration tab and the class fees (if known) in the Finance tab.
